EMDR


A therapy since 1989 and discovered in 1989 by Francine Shapiro. It has grown over the years and is now recognised by NICE Guidelines and the Department of Health in the United Kingdom.

EMDR is recommended for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in children, adolescents and adults. EMDR evokes brain state similar to that produced during REM sleep. Growing evidence for use with other issues such as anxiety and depression.
